1890 Welsbach Gas Street lamp w cast iron pole

Manufactured in Baltimore for Welsbach by A.E Shaw & E.S. Sanderson, these majestic victorian lamps lit the streets of Philadelphia in the late 1800's and were decommissioned in 1959. The sand cast heads and pole iron are cast marked Philadelphia, Pat. October 31, 1899.  These are the last of this inventory and supply is very limited. Your order includes original hand blown clear glass shade and milk glass bonnet, 8 foot cast iron pole and ladder rest. Lamps can be outfitted to light via gas or electric service.
